INITIAL SUPPLIES - UPON ARRIVAL
Panhandle Getaways furnishes a few essential items for guests to utilize until they can get to the grocery store. Initial Supplies include: Dishwasher soap, small washing machine powder, each bathroom has amenities (like hotel but NOT restocked) shampoo, conditioner, soap bar. One roll of toilet paper in each bathroom & one paper towel roll in the kitchen. All bed linens and towels are provided. We encourage guests to bring beach towels for use at the pool and beach.

The room was immaculate and exactly as shown in pictures. The only thing that prevents me from leaving a 5-star review is even though pool was advertised as open untill 11pm on both this site and The Summit website, and was posted on the condo premises as such, staff closed the pool at 7 -8 pm every single evening of our stay. There was no reason , no bad weather , no issues with pool just seemed as if security wanted to make their jobs easier. The tiki bar remained open until 11 or after each night. Explaining this to kids when returning from eating dinner was pure agony. They were heartbroken each day about not being able to go for a night swim when pool finally became less than over crowded in the evenings. After the fact I noticed this has been an on going complaint in other reviews for the summer dating as far back as early March of 2024. Just beware the pool is not available as advertised!

The room was great, super clean and very quite despite some reviews I've read on the other units. It was very busy so the building elevators were a pain sometimes. Tiki bar was great as well as the guys working the beach. Parking was tough if you come in past 10pm. But the room was great, will be using Panhandle Getaways again!!
