About Dune Allen Beach on 30A
Located on the quieter west end of Hwy 30A, the easygoing atmosphere and the mix of Old Florida beach bungalows and new construction homes make Dune Allen Beach a prime spot for 30A vacationers and locals alike. Dune Allen Beach is home to five of the fifteen coastal dune lakes in South Walton County. Allen Lake, Campbell Lake, Morris Lake, Oyster Lake, and Stallworth Lake are all worth visiting while you’re here. They each provide great opportunities for exploration and photography. Some great regional and neighborhood 30A public beach accesses are in Dune Allen along with Stinky's Fish Camp, one of the most well-known local restaurants around.
On the western tip of Dune Allen, Topsail Hill Preserve State Preserve ranks as one of Florida’s most treasured parks, with its beaches, majestic dunes and dune lakes remaining virtually untouched throughout the centuries. The preserve includes 3.2 miles of secluded beaches, and some of its sand dunes tower over 25 feet tall.
