September Fall Festival and Market

Every September this family-friendly event kicks off fall, just steps from the beach, at Aaron Bessant Park in Pier Park. The Fall Festival and Market is an exciting fall farmers market with local crafts, homemade items, delicious food, and live music. There is a kid's zone and plenty of games and activities to keep everyone entertained. Food trucks will be serving delicious culinary favorites. 

October Events in Panama City Beach

Pirates of the High Seas and Renaissance Fest

This fun-filled adventure sets sail on Columbus Day weekend and is packed with waves of activities for the whole family. Action-packed events such as mermaid shows, treasure hunts, costume contests, pirate battles, and magic shows will mesmerize you during the day at Pier Park and Aaron Bessant Park. 

The parade is a true highlight with boat floats all captained by extravagantly dressed pirates passing out candy and beads. The fun continues in the evening with a fire circus, live music, a pirate pub, and live entertainment. Be sure to stick around for the colorful fireworks display each night that lights up the sky.

Oktoberfest

Oktoberfest is a three-day festival full of German food, beer, music, and fun activities. The activities range from live music in the big tent, a bouncy house for the kids, face painting, photo booths, stein hoisting, alphorn blowing, and best-dressed competitions. Aaron Bessant Park comes alive with a full weekend lineup of events and daily activities. 

The event features a massive 150'x50' tent decorated like the authentic Oktoberfest tent in Munich, Germany, as well as two outdoor beer gardens and a VIP section. Several vendors serve up German beer on tap, brats, giant pretzels, and much more. The hard pear cider is a special treat if you’ve never tried it. Pumpkin Patch at Camp Helen State Park

Every day during October, Camp Helen State Park transforms into the perfect pumpkin patch. You can pick from a variety of pumpkins to purchase for your fall celebration, to carve or not to carve. On the weekends, Camp Helen offers activities for their fall festival such as face painting and children's activities. Weekend food trucks serve up snacks and ice cream.  

Admission into the park for this event is $2.00. Donations are accepted and will go directly to the Friends of Camp Helen State Park to benefit the park’s resource management projects and interpretive programs.

ZooBoo

ZooBoo takes place at ZooWorld in PCB and is a local and visitor favorite for Halloween. This is a safe, fun, and kid-friendly trick-or-treating experience. Free king-size candy bars, animal meet and greets, trick or trick-or-treat stations around the entire zoo are all included with your admission. Everyone has a blast with the activities such as costume contests and face painting. ZooBoo is a wild trick-or-treating experience that the whole family will love.

Halloween Haunts in PCB

For those who like a little scare during the fall season Panama City Beach offers some fun thrills. Fear at the Pier is a walk-through haunted attraction with special effects, live actors, and incredible monsters located in Pier Park that runs year-round. If you are looking for more thrills you can get the combo activity pass, which allows you to experience the haunted house, an escape room of your choice, and axe throwing. 

Mr. Creepies Demented Labyrinth is two haunts in one located at Swampy Jacks Wango Adventures. Come see why Mr. Creepies was voted a top-rated haunted house,if you dare. They are located at 284 Powell Adams Rd in Panama City Beach and open weekend from 5pm-11pm in the fall. There is a Haunted Mansion at Race City to explore if you are brave enough to step inside. This 300-foot walk-through haunted house has six different themed rooms to explore. 

PCB Fall Festivals and Events in November

Grand Lagoon Bloody Mary and Music Festival

Each year local bars and restaurants compete for the title of Best Bloody Mary in the Grand Lagoon. You will be able to sample all the different variations from vendors at this outdoor fall festival and decide your favorite. A panel of judges decide who will be crowned the “Big Tomato” and awarded the four-foot, tomato-topped trophy to keep until next year’s event.

Emerald Coast Cruizin’

Emerald Coast Cruizin’ is an outdoor festival for the automotive enthusiast, so whether you drive a Classic, Hot Rod, Street Rod, Exotics, or Muscle car, this family-friendly event has something for everyone! Held at Aaron Bessant Park, this event has plenty for the kids to do along with some of the best car watching on the coast.
