30A Public Beach Access
Some of the best public beach access points for Prominence guests are just a short bike ride or golf cart drive away from your front door. Most Prominence guests use the beach access found at Deer Lake State Park. The state park is roughly half a mile from Prominence, which is about a five-minute golf cart ride. The park access is located at 6350 E County Hwy 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459. There is a nominal park admittance fee but during the summer season, that fee is covered by the county tourism board for all guests. Beach chair service is not allowed at the state park, so you will need to bring your own.
Walton Dunes is another easily accessible public beach entrance, located 2.5 miles from Prominence. There are no stairs or ramps, and you can walk right up to the beach. To get there, head east on 30A and then take a left at Lakewood Drive. Follow the curve until you see the parking lot for cars and golf carts. Beach chair and umbrella rentals are provided here by local vendors to rent daily or weekly.
Santa Clara Regional Beach Access is located in Seagrove, 3.5 miles from Prominence. This beach access has parking, restrooms, ADA ramps, beach service, and lifeguards during peak season. Beach chair service is provided here by local vendors that you can rent daily or weekly.
The beach access at Gulf Lakes is half a mile east of Prominence. There is bike parking, a shower, and beach service provided here. Along the 26 miles of Hwy 30A, there is also Grayton Beach State Park and Topsail Hill Preserve State Park which also have public beach access. Golf Carts and Bikes in Prominence
