The LiQ

10912 Front Beach Rd

This beach bar by day transforms into a dance club at night where you can dance the night away with the best DJs on the beach. This is a great place for a cold brew or bloody mary on the patio before walking across the street to the beach. The LiQ is a full-service bar and liquor store with a large dance floor that lights up at night. This cocktail bar is highly rated for their delicious frozen drinks and fun, upbeat atmosphere. It is self-proclaimed as the #1 PCB late night spot.

 

The Salty Goat Saloon

13006 Front Beach Rd, Suite B

The Salty Goat has plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy cocktails and beautiful beach views during the day. It is known for its friendly staff and live entertainment featuring musical talent nightly from local and touring bands. The Salty Goat serves up delicious food all day and into the late night with some of the best wings on the beach. Drink favorites like their signature Moscow mule served in a copper mug will refresh you after a hot day at the beach. This is the prime watering hole for Thunder Beach bike week and a great spot for bikers to unite. 

The Alibi Beach Lounge and Grill

Right off the beach, you will find this hidden gem where you can enjoy live music on the patio, mouth-watering food, and cold beer and drinks. The Alibi also serves breakfast, lunch, or dinner in a fun atmosphere. It offers daily lunch specials and live entertainment every day You may want to turn up the heat and try the mango habanero wings. You can enjoy a full bar, and a large domestic and craft beer selection. You can always come here to establish your alibi.  

Ms. Newby’s

8711 Thomas Dr.

Ms. Newby’s is one of the original local bars for friends, locals, and visitors to gather for over 40 years. The Newbys originally owned a beach supply and grocery store and expanded next door creating Ms. Newby's Package Store, eventually evolving into the bar we know today. 

Inside there is room to hang out, play darts, or purchase bottles to-go at the full-service package store. There is even a drive-through window for your convenience. The large outdoor area has live entertainment and karaoke. Upstairs you will find Newby’s office area with comfortable seating and unique craft beer choices on tap. If you venture on the second-floor patio, you will find an outdoor dancefloor and DJ. Make sure you try their signature hunch punch or a magic school bus, a delightful frozen orange sorbet cocktail served by their highly skilled mixologists. 

Newby’s Too (aka The Curve)

4103 Thomas Dr.

Ms. Newby’s expanded to introduce Newby’s Too, or what locals call Newby’s on The Curve, or simply The Curve. This local sports bar offers pool tables, darts, shuffleboard, great drinks, and more. Newby’s Too is also known for some of the best karaoke on the beach. The End Zone area of the bar is a great place to watch live games and enjoy happy hour specials. On select Saturday and Sunday mornings, the parking lot transforms into a farmers market venue, where you can grab a bloody mary or mimosa, shop the market, and enjoy lunch from one of the food trucks. 

 

Whiskey’s Saloon

17190 Front Beach Rd.

Whiskey’s Saloon has an atmosphere of stepping into the Wild West and is the beach’s oldest saloon. It is located on the quieter west end of the beach, and you can choose between bar seating or large whiskey barrel tables. Whiskey’s has live entertainment including bands, a DJ, and Karaoke. There are also pool tables, darts, a dance floor, ice-cold beer, a full liquor bar, and outdoor seating. There is also an outdoor area for special events and concerts. 

 

Buster’s Beer and Bait

5900 Thomas Dr.

As the sign says, “Liquor in the Front, Bait in the Back,” so it's pretty apparent that Buster’s is a one-stop shop. It has a full-service package store and bar and also serves as a bait shop for the fishermen in you. This local hangout always has a lot going on from live bands, karaoke, cornhole, and more. Buster, the owner, is a veteran and at sunset plays the national anthem outside. Since it is located down the street from one of Panama City Beach’s only public boat ramps, it makes sense to have a bait and tackle shop in the back. This is a popular spot for Thunder Beach bike riders. 

 

Donovan’s Reef Bar

15726 Front Beach Rd.

Donovan’s first opened in 1970 and has been a local and tourist favorite ever since. They are located near Pier Park offering a full bar, pool tables, dance floor, live music, karaoke, big screen TVs, darts, and an outdoor patio. This lively bar is a great place to sip, savor and celebrate. You will want to take advantage of their fantastic drink specials during happy hour and be sure to check out Donovan’s liquor store next door. 

 

Patches Pub and Grill

Patches has been a local favorite since the 1990s and has recently stepped things up with additional menu options. It has been voted Best of The Bay seven times in a row making it a must-try. This award-winning establishment has been voted the best chicken wings, best burger, best sports bar for food, best entertainment, and best bingo. Their taco pizza is a crowd-pleaser that your whole group will enjoy. 

When you enter the bar area, you'll see why it is named Patches, with hundreds of unique fabric patches donated from bar patrons and organizations all over the country adorning the wall. With plenty of TVs, sports enthusiasts will find this a great spot to watch a live game. Their drink and food specials, unique cocktails, and friendly service make this a great place to visit. This one is family friendly, so the whole family can enjoy this local favorite. You may want to come early on the weekends as this popular establishment may have a wait.

Neons Beach Shack

Neon’s offers a lively environment with colorful neon lights, a kid-friendly menu, and a full bar. They always have something fun going on, so before you go check their entertainment schedule. They have kids' activities, dart tournaments, line dancing, dueling pianos, paint nights, Latin dancing nights, music bingo, live bands, ladies' nights, holiday activities, and more. Neon’s also has an elaborate menu of delicious food and drinks for everyone. They also host and cater special events, weddings, birthday parties, and corporate events. 


Foghorns Bar and Package

8503 Thomas Dr.

Located next to Neon’s you will find Foghorns which is a bar and package store. They are also one of the largest pool and billiards halls in Panama City Beach. Locals and visitors rave about their live bands playing on stage. They have a play-and-plug acoustic karaoke DJ and serve up delicious cocktails. You will want to check out their great selection of drink specials at happy hour.
